OLLIE

DEAN

GARY

RICH

Ollie is the lead singer in the band. He has been singing since the age of 7 and has continually followed the careers of Joe Elliot, Bryan Adams and aped his vocals to the rock genre that compliments the heavy distorted guitar sound of Freefaller. After being together for 5 years, this front man of the band has the knack of covering every inch of the stage during performances. Having already sold records all over the world and going top 10 with their first smash hit “Do This, Do That”, he and the band are set for one hell of a year in 2005.

Dean Roberts has been playing since the age of 15, with influences from Richie Sambora, Joe Satriani, Bowling For Soup and Greenday. Freefaller’s tour manager David Holmes accidentally over heard Dean playing on a visit to his home town of the Isle of Wight and invited Dean to come to the studio, make some tea and post the letters. Dean thanks Marshall Amps and Bareknuckle pickups for their support and would love any lacy underwear company to get in touch for an endorsement as well.

Gary is the bass player in Freefaller. Music has been his life since the age of 14 when he learnt to play the guitar and landed himself a job at his local music store on the south coast. By the age of 17 Gary was co-managing a recording studio and sound engineering internationally for one of the UK’s most prestigious function bands, putting into practice the skills he was currently learning at Music College where he also turned his hand to the bass. Through one of the musicians in the function band Gary was recommended to the management company that represented Ollie (Freefaller’s singer) as a tour manager and sound engineer. The two quickly became good friends and writing partners, the rest as they say, is history!! Gary would like to thank both Ernie Ball (www.ernieball.com) for their musicman basses, and Ashdown engineering (www.ashdownmusic.com) for their continuing support. Gary is still available for weddings and bar mitzvahs, please email for price lists!!

Rich Joy is the drummer for Freefaller and brings a combination of styles to their sound. From Ringo Starr through to John Bonham to Chuck Comeau of Simple Plan and back to his first passion of BeBop. Starting to play when he was 12, Rich showed promise in all ensembles he could get into, which lead to him studying in London and getting the chance to hang out and play with as many groups as he possibly could! From a chance meeting with Ollie’s best friend in America 5 years ago Rich hung out, brought his drums over, played a bit and Freefaller was born. Rich would like to thank Yamaha Drums, The international Barn Smugglers Drum Emporium, Pork Pie, Evans Drumheads, Vic Firth sticks and Protection Racket cases for their support.
