Freefaller hung out with Queen
at their recent launch party in Leicester Square to see the first screening of “The Return of the Champions”. The new DVD from Queen and Paul Rogers. Rich- “We love Queen, so it was a real treat to be asked along for the night” Ollie- it was the best music DVD we’ve seen for a long time! ” Gary- “ Paul Rogers does an amazing job with Freddie’s songs!” Dean- “I’ve already ordered it online!” So go check it out now guys!

Freefaller Behind Bars!
On the 6th of October, Freefaller took part in one of this year’s “Stars Behind Bars” events to raise money for The Sick Children’s Trust. The evening took place at London ’s Sugar Reef bar and Freefaller were joined by many other stars including Big Brother’s Craig and Orlaith, all there to get their hands dirty and rake in some cash for the kids! Rich said- ”It was a really good night, we’ve all worked in bars before so it was good fun having a laugh with the punters again” Ollie- “It was wicked learning how to do all those fancy cocktails…sex on the beach anyone!” Dean- “Orlaith was very talented….” Gary- “She wasn’t bad behind the bar either!”. www.sickchildrenstrust.org

Green Day endorse Freefaller cover!
Freefaller were in awe when they recently received an email from a Green Day representative at Reprise Records stating that the rock gods had heard the cover of their 90’s classic “Basket Case” and thought it was “Pretty Cool”.

Ollie said- “When Freefaller covering Basket Case was first talked about, our publishing company (Zomba) contacted Green Day’s people to get clearance. Green Day said it was cool as long as we kept the song in it’s original form” Rich- “It was amazing getting the stamp of approval from the guys who wrote the song all those years ago” Gary- “Is there no end to Green Day’s rock god-ness!” Dean- “Happy days”.

Freefaller play BT Tower!
On the 8th of October, Freefaller performed at a special charity event at the legendary British Telecom Tower in London to celebrate the 40th birthday of the 60’s iconic structure and to raise money for Children in Need. The event was jam packed with a whole host of stars and the Freefaller boys were only too pleased to be raising money for such a good cause.
